Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2026
Black Friday 2026 router and mesh Wi-Fi buying guide
How to tell whether a Black Friday router or mesh discount is worth having, which products fit common homes and what they list for, and, once a person has checked them at the retailer, offers with the time of each check. Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday is Monday 30 November.
Holiday pricing hasn't started on this page yet. From 20 November we re-check listed offers at least every 24 hours. Until then, the four checks and the budget table below are the best preparation.
Holiday coverage is on: every offer below was checked in the last 24 hours, and each disappears when its check expires.
Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2026 are over. Holiday offers have expired; current offers, when there are any, are on the deals page. This page will be updated for 2027.

Which discounts are actually worth it
A holiday price is a good deal when three things are true: the product suits your home and internet plan, the price is genuinely lower than what it normally sells for, and the product will keep getting security updates. Most misleading networking deals fail the second or third test.
- Compare with what it really sells for, not the list price. A "40 % off" label is often measured from a launch list price the product rarely sells at. U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidance says a former-price comparison is deceptive when the former price wasn't one the product was openly and actively offered at (16 CFR 233.1). We compute savings only against our own price checks over time or the maker's current store price.
- Price the whole home, not one box. A cheap single router is no bargain in a home that needs two or three mesh units. The planner sizes the kit for your floor area, floors and walls, and totals it.
- Match the internet port to your plan. On a 2 Gbps or faster plan, a router with a 1 Gbps internet port caps you at roughly 940 Mbps in practice; see why a 2 Gbps plan may not deliver 2 Gbps. The finder can show only routers with faster ports.
- Be wary of clearance on older generations. A deep discount on an older Wi-Fi 6 model can still be good value for a gigabit plan and older devices, but check that the maker still lists it and still ships firmware. Our product pages flag discontinued models.
- Check the subscription. Some systems put security or parental controls behind a monthly fee. A lower price with a subscription can cost more over a few years; see router subscriptions compared.
- Keep the box until you've tested coverage. Retailers set their own holiday return windows, and they vary. Check the policy before you buy and test the far rooms in the first few days.

Worth waiting for: the finder's picks at list price
For five common situations, the router finder's best overall pick and its best-value alternative, at the makers' published prices (not sale prices). If a checked offer brings one of these below its list price, that's a deal that fits; a deeper discount on something that doesn't fit your home isn't. Results come from our published rules on today's catalog and change as the catalog does.
| Situation | Best overall (list price) | Best value (list price) | Why the finder picks it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apartment on a gigabit plan | GL.iNet Flint 3 (GL-BE9300): $209.99 | MikroTik hAP be lite (A42G-HbeP): $79.00 (price not from the maker's store) | One router should cover a home this size |
| Two-story house, 2,500 sq ft | MSI Roamii BE Pro Mesh System (MRBE110) (2 units): $299.99 (price not from the maker's store) | TP-Link Deco XE75 (2 units): $219.99 | 2-unit kit matches the 2 access points we estimate Watch: Some specs are medium-confidence; see the product page sources. |
| 2 Gbps fiber plan | eero Pro 7: $299.99 | GL.iNet Flint 3 (GL-BE9300): $209.99 | One router should cover a home this size |
| Large wired home, 5,000 sq ft | NETGEAR Orbi 770 Series (RBE773) (3 units): $699.99 | TP-Link Deco BE23 (3 units): $299.97 | 3-unit kit matches the 3 access points we estimate Watch: Some specs are medium-confidence; see the product page sources. |
| Smart home that needs VLANs | GL.iNet Flint 3 (GL-BE9300) (2 units): $419.98 | Same as best overall | Expandable with EasyMesh mesh units Watch: Our estimate is 2 access points; you'd add 1 more compatible unit. |

| A 2 Gbps or faster plan | An internet port of 2.5 Gbps or more, and a LAN port to match for your fastest device | Finder: multi-gig ports |
| Lots of smart-home devices | Documented VLAN or IoT network support, good 2.4 GHz coverage | Finder: VLAN support |

Build the best network for your budget
The router finder's best whole-home pick at each budget, at the makers' list prices, for two common homes. When a checked offer brings one of these below its list price, that's the kind of deal worth acting on. For your own home, open the planner with a budget: it keeps every compatibility rule and uses list prices, never expired sale prices.

Cyber Monday
Cyber Monday offers are listed in the same place as Black Friday ones, with their own check times. We'll give Cyber Monday a separate section only if retailers run offers that differ from Black Friday's; repeating the same prices on a second page wouldn't help anyone.
