Scope

This Policy covers routerhaus.com and pages that link to it (the “Services”). We target U.S. users. If you are outside the U.S., your rights may differ.

Information We Collect

  • Quiz inputs: space type/size, devices, ISP tier, usage goals.
  • Support: troubleshooting details, files you submit.

  • Cookies/local storage: preferences (e.g., theme), analytics, and—if enabled—ads/attribution.

  • Quiz inputs/recommendations: 24 months (or until you request deletion).
  • Server logs & IP addresses: 12 months.
  • Analytics identifiers: up to 13 months.
  • Affiliate click IDs: 90 days.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the data we process. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect PI from children. We also do not knowingly sell or share PI of consumers under 16.

Your Rights (U.S.)

Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, opt out of targeted advertising (“sharing”), and obtain portability.

  • Verification: we may request information to verify your identity. California: authorized agents must provide proof of authority and we may verify the consumer directly.
  • Timing: we typically respond within 45 days (may extend once by 45 days; we’ll notify you).
  • Appeals (CO/CT/VA): if we deny your request, email us with subject “Privacy Appeal”. We’ll respond within 45 days with reasons and how to contact your Attorney General if you disagree.
  • Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Your Privacy Choices

  • Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link or email us.
  • Analytics/Ads cookies: manage in your browser or via any consent banner we provide.
  • Do Not Sell/Share: email us with subject “Do Not Sell/Share”. Where applicable, we honor GPC signals as an opt-out for the browser sending the signal.

Do Not Track (DNT) signals are not standardized; we currently respond to GPC instead of DNT.

Financial Incentives

We do not offer programs that provide price or service differences related to your personal information.

Third-Party Sites

Our site links to third-party sites, including merchants via affiliate links. Their data practices are governed by their policies.
